Looks like we may be staying here for a bit longer than planed because of the coronavirus and that most campgrounds seem to be closing down. We have a nice spot in a private campground that is for Lago Vista property owners or guests, my nephew Ryan lives here.
Well it’s been over a month here in Lago Vista, time to head down the road to the next adventure. leaving here Thursday or Friday and heading to Oologah OK to visit Frank & Lynn Fortney, friends we made in Quartzsite. Oologah is only about 500 miles from here strait north, from there we will head east to TN. The hill country here in TX is beautiful and a great place to ride motorcycles but too expensive to retire, property taxes are off the chart here like $6,500 a year for a $200,000 house. Will have to say the H.E.B grocery stores in TX are awesome, great selection of stuff you don’t see at other stores like there home made tortillas and there very fair priced as well.
