Just after 2 nites on the road from Oklahoma we made it to eastern TN. Camped at a TVA campground (Jacksons Island) on watts bar lake just outside Spring City. Lucked out getting a spot as its Memorial day weekend. Tennessee is beautiful and people are really friendly.

We took two days to get to Oologah OK , made it through Dallas no problem, spent the nite just over the border at a really nice rest area outside of Colbert OK, had two fenced in dog runs so we parked right in front of one…perfect. Got set up at Frank & Lynns aboutContinue reading “Oklahoma”

The storm that has come down the west coast is finally hitting us, a bit of wind and rain but warm, mid 60s. Went to the local pub (the Grubstake) and had a great Thanksgiving feast and dessert for 6 bucks, cant beat that, and it was good.
